Water pressure depends only on depth, not container shape
Overview
The counterintuitive fact that water pressure at a given depth is the same regardless of container shape.
A wide container and narrow tube connected at the base have equal pressure at the bottom, despite vastly different water weights above. The pressure depends only on depth (ρgh), not on the volume or shape of water above. Seems to violate intuition about weight.
