Overview
A thought experiment proposing a being that could decrease entropy in a closed system, apparently violating thermodynamics.
A demon operates a door between two chambers. It opens the door only for fast molecules moving right and slow molecules moving left, creating a temperature difference without work - decreasing entropy and violating the second law of thermodynamics.
