Omnipotence Paradox
Can an omnipotent being create a stone it cannot lift?
Overview
A logical challenge to the concept of omnipotence, often posed as a theological question.
If a being can create a stone it cannot lift, then it's not omnipotent (it can't lift the stone). If it cannot create such a stone, then it's also not omnipotent (it can't create the stone). Either way, omnipotence seems logically impossible.
