Yablo's Paradox
A self-referential paradox without direct self-reference
Overview
An infinite sequence of statements where each says all following statements are false.
Statement 1: 'All following statements are false.' Statement 2: 'All following statements are false.' And so on infinitely. No statement directly refers to itself, yet the sequence is paradoxical. If any statement is true, it implies all following are false, including those saying the same thing.
